Clear answers
Questions worth settling early.
What should a sorority formal invitation tell a guest?
Give the date, address, arrival time, RSVP method and deadline, dress guidance, transportation plan, lodging instructions if relevant, and a contact for changes. Add any chapter-specific guest requirements after checking your own rules.
How should we confirm guest names and arrival details?
Use one controlled list with each invitee’s RSVP status, expected arrival, and any needs providers must accommodate. Limit access to the organizers who need it, then reconcile the final count before sending numbers to vendors.
How do we explain the dress code?
Describe the level of formality and practical setting in plain language. Mention outdoor surfaces, weather exposure, and any venue restrictions so guests can choose suitable attire.
What should out-of-town guests know before booking?
Explain what is confirmed, what they must reserve themselves, the likely travel window, hotel location, transport to the venue, and how they will get home. Avoid calling a tentative hotel block guaranteed.
